Pelvic Health & Strength for Women is a workshop led by a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, Strength and Conditioning Coach, and Certified Prenatal/Postnatal Coach to help you understand your pelvic health, build strength, and move confidently through every stage of womanhood. 

This workshop is appropriate for women who are new to exercise or who are advanced weightlifters. Whether you’re hoping to become pregnant in the coming years, are currently pregnant, are recently postpartum or have been a mom for years - you will gain practical tips and evidence-based support.

Inside this workshop, you’ll understand:

  • Why pelvic floor health and strength training are so important for women
  • Whether your pelvic floor muscles are too tight or too weak
  • How pregnancy and birth affect your pelvic floor
  • How to run and lift weights without leaking
  • How to manage symptoms like prolapse, diastasis recti, low back/hip/tailbone pain
  • How to set yourself up for success

This workshop blends:

The instructors
Lauren Gadjovich
PT, CSCS, CPPC

Lauren is a Registered Physiotherapist, Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and Certified Prenatal and Postnatal Coach. She graduated from the University of Toronto with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy, and she holds an Honours Bachelor Degree of Health Sciences from Western University. Lauren is passionate about helping women to feel stronger, move better, and think clearer. She takes a biopsychosocial approach to care and supports women to improve their health and wellbeing, prevent injury, and nourish their body to be the best version of themselves.
